Have just returned after another fabulous stay in the Kilkenny Ormonde. We had our wedding there last October and one of our friends gave us a voucher for the hotel for 2 nights B&B and one evening meal,which we decided to use for Valentines Weekend. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we were really looked after. We availed of the leisure centre facilities and spa for the first time which added to the enjoyment of the weekend. The food was superb and our room (410) was fantastic!
The hotels location is another bonus- everything just a short walk away.
We've already planned our next trip back next month.

This is a great location from which to explore Kilkenny. It is a stones throw from the Castle and the Kilkenny Design Centre both of which are worth a visit. You can really park your car and forget about it till you're leaving.
The staff were amazingly helpful with information about restaurants within walking distance.
I had a problem with the hairdryer - it went bang in my hand- on our second day and after our complaint we had a note of apology from the duty manager with a bottle of wine. Good touch!

I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. Lovely, caring staff, always trying to facilitate the guest where possible.

From the receptionists to the staff in the breakfast room in the morning all were extremely caring and wanted to do their best to make my stay a good one.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean and maintained to a high standard. The location right in the heart of Kilkenny city is ideal for any visitor and I would suggest you make this the place to stay when visiting Kilkenny.

I stayed here for two nights with my wife and some visitors from the USA.The two nights B&B with one evening meal was an excellent deal.We made use of the fantastic leisure centre facilities while we were there.The room was very comfortable.i would definitely stay there again.
