Stayed in The Abbey Gate for a couple of nights and very pleased with my stay indeed. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful and I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Great location, nothing bad to write, but would probably look for better value or B&B next time. Staff friendly, breakfast standard hotel breakfast (average).

used to love the abbey gate....parking is a problem....they should do a big free deal with multi storey car park 20 m away.....place is now run down and staff need to be trained....rooms tired and need paper and paint and new fittings,,,,,...do 10 per year....breakfast a disaster....should have separate room for private people...cattle hall for bus tours..............not enough staff on and no order.....plenty of good clean hotels in tralee and are modern...............go find them...............

really enjoyed my stay at the Abbey Gate. lovely spacious and well equipped room. this hotel is really centrally located in the town right in the middle of it all. the staff could not have done more when we stayed and were so friendly. the bar was great to spend time in and food in the hotel was superb.
