The first thing which you absolutely need to know is that there is a large and exceptionally noisy nightclub on the ground floor. Thankfully it only operates on weekends, but unfortunately that was when I was booked in.

The rooms are large, clean and well-decorated. The amenities are pretty good, with the exception of a weak wifi signal. The staff are pretty friendly but non-existent after dark (probably as they have to work the bar next door).

When the disco is running the hotel's front access mysteriously disappears, and you are left to battle your way through the drunken masses in the club just to get back into the building. This is something which needs addressing. There is also no guest parking on nightclub nights, which is an annoyance in a town where parking is at a premium (and expensive).

Other than that it is a decent place to stay and represents fair value. I am sure it would be a lot nicer on a weeknight, and for anyone who plans to stay on the weekend I would suggest asking for a room on the top level at the front to be furthest from the noise.

I personally won't stay again.

There were 20 of us We stayed in Benner’s hotel for a hen party and I can honestly say that there were absolutely no complaints, in fact only praise for the hotel and the staff!
The value for money, the friendliness of the staff and the customer service that we received in Benners was excellent- the staff were only too happy to accommodate our requests and ensure that we all enjoyed our stay.
The food in the bar and the breakfast the following morning was faultless and the rooms were spotlessly clean and perfect for what we needed – a central, pocket friendly & efficient place to stay in Tralee for a girl’s night out. I would definitely stay again.

Spent a night here over the weekend with a group of friends. We had a great time, staff are so friendly and warm. There was 20 of us in total and we were accomodating and made feel so welcome. We'd finger food ordered for our arrival, and the sandwiches were so fresh and tasty. Overall the food at this hotel is very good. Breakfast was lovely and the hostess at breakfast again was warm, welcoming with a friendly smile, with an endless supply of toast which is always good after a hard night out ! I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others wishing to stay a night in Tralee. There was a real sense of family. We also frequented the nightclub and it was unreal, great set up, again staff here was so friendly! The hotel rooms were lovely, clean and fresh, nice and warm, really couldnt fault ! The only thing i would remark on is paint the cleaning in the breakfast room, the black is so dark and gloomy.. esp. for a meal like breakfast should be warm, open and bright i felt. Also the chairs in here were a little inappropiate (office swing chairs), a little paint could make a huge difference in here..

Staff are lovely and reception area is modern and inviting. Rooms are very run down and ours smelled of fags and cooking oil. There was trouble on our corridor on our last night with a loud aggressive drunk causing trouble but the night porter was up in minutes and sorted him out very quickly. The rooms though are perhaps the worst I've been in since I stayed in Darby O'Gills last year. But. Having said that we only paid 73 euro for two nights. The heater didn't work, the wall paper was torn, the duvet barely covered the bed and the mattresses were from bargaintown. It could be a great hotel if they modernised the rooms and gave the place a lick of paint. Tralee is lovely though.
