We drove into Killarney and drove past this house a couple of times. The sign was difficult to read. Once inside we were "greeted" by someone (no clue who it was) who quickly gave us our key and then disappeared for the remainer of our stay. The room was fine, the bathtub was big and I liked that the TV could be angled to be seen from the bathtub.

The sitting room downstairs was comfortable and the internet access was awesome. Could be used even in the front of their house as we were sitting in our car.

The house did not feel like a B&B. It was like a small hotel. I liked being able to interact with other guests and the breakfast the next morning was lovely. It was a very short walk into town and I did enjoy my stay.

We stayed at the Ardree House for 3 nights and would return without a doubt. The rooms are large, comfortable, and clean. The location was great and town was an easy and enjoyable walk to many restaurants and shops. The staff were extremely helpful and most pleasant, especially John who was willing and able to assist us with all of our needs. A wonderful place to stay in Killarney.

We were most fortunate to come upon this accomodation. John King, the host, was full of information and tips on places to see in Killarney and the county as a whole. The main floor room was very convenient for my elderly mother, and was spotless. The bathroom was very modern and again, perfectly clean. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ardree House to anyone who asked for a tip on where to stay in Killarney.

This is a lovely place...I was traveling solo and enjoyed a huge room with a wonderful bath and shower. Breakfasts were lovely and the proprietor John was delightful. Close to town within 3 minutes walking distance and lighted gave me security and convience. There was a parlor with coffee and tea available at all hours and also a laptop computer which everyone could use without fee. I found that to be so helpful and a luxury. On my future visits to Ireland, I will happily stay at the Ardree House. Indeed there was a gentleman from London who stays there regularly. It is first rate.
