Courtesy of Hurricane Irene our group had an extra 3 nights at Robeen House. What a lovely place to be stranded! The proprietor Bernice gave us lots of good advice, suggested numerous activities and answered our many questions with patience, humor and good cheer. Our rooms were spacious and very clean. Each morning we received a delicious, filling breakfast. The location of Robeen House is perfect-an easy walk into the center of Killarney and also into the beautiful Killarney National Park. We will absolutely return on our next visit to Ireland.

I had the opportunity of spending 4 nights at the lovely Robeen guest house. The proprietor Bernice couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating. From out initial welcome to good-bye, our group appreciated the staff's friendliness and attentiveness. The guest home was beautifully appointed with fragrant flowers in the reception area, spacious and clean rooms, a comfortable lounge with computer/internet and TV, a pretty dining area where an array of breakfast items both hot and cold were offered and served. Bernice and Geraldine took the time to answer our numerous questions with patience and humor! Hurricane Irene extended our trip for three additional nights at Robeen House and we were grateful for our most comfortable accomodations.Should I return to Killarney I will book a room at Robeen without hesitation!

We began a walking tour of the Kerry Way here and ended up staying an extra four days at the end, when we were held over in Ireland after Hurricane Katrina. Proprietress Bernice is a terrific host who will go the extra mile to help and accommodate visitors -- with information about the surrounding area, bookings, etc. Very friendly and funny too! The house itself is clean, quiet, comfortable and attractive -- very sunny in its public spaces. The wireless is good and a computer available to guests. Location is also good, about a 10 minute walk from the center of Killarney, and the price is right.

Stayed overnight in Robeen house which was comfortable and owner was very welcoming.Bed was comfortable but an extra blanket would be a nice option as it was a bit cool overnight.Breakfast was v.good with good choice to pick from.Staff very friendly and helpful and cheerful.Great location on Muckross rd about 5-7 mins walk from shops etc.
Will be back when in Killarney again.
