My husband and I spent 4 nights at Alderhaven. Our hostess, Norrie, took us "under her wing" to make our stay in Killarney very memorable. Once she knew we loved to hike, she made all kinds of recommendations and even booked a day trip for us to hike the "Gap of Dunloe". She went out of her way to help us including restaurant recommendations for my husband's birthday (she even called the restaurant to tip them off that it was his birthday and they surprised him with dessert and everyone in the restaurant singing to him! ) The accommodations were simple but very comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was great! I'd go back but would ask for a bigger room!

We stayed at Alderhaven for 2 nights and it was wonderful. Very peaceful and cozy. Norrie and Pat make you feel right at home - fabulous hosts! Would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone traveling through Killarney.

We stayed at Alderhaven for only one night, as we were just passing through. We will never forget the hospitality of Norrie and Pat, especially when we had car trouble in the morning. What good luck for us, as they happened to have a mechanic friend for breakfast that day, who spent a good hour helping charge our battery! The rooms were very comfortable and clean, and the food was most delicious! Thank you, Norrie and Pat, (we did get that battery fixed later, thanks to your advice, and we had smooth sailing the rest of our trip). We hope to visit again!

My family and I stayed at Alderhaven and had a great experience. Norrie is an excellent hostess and wonderful person. She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and was very helpful in assisting us plan our activities providing very good recommendations for restaurants and shopping. We would definitely go back again.
