I have stated January 2011 on this, as it doesn't go back any further but its been a few years since I stayed here. I am not surprised at "defrimated"'s view below. When I got home I found I had left my hairdryer behind at the guesthouse. I found it hard to believe I wouldn't have seen it when I was packing as it was a big yoke with a diffuser attached. I telephoned them immediately and was told there was no sign of the hairdryer. I left my no. and asked them to phone me if it turned up. I telephoned them again at a later date and was told still no sign. I began to think someone must have entered the room while we were at breakfast and took it. I then wrote them a letter pleading with them to look for it again, that it was of no monetary value but had sentimental value for me as it had been a 21st gift, and asked them to phone me once they found it and I would go and pick it up. About two days later it arrived at my house by COD in two packages and I was expected to fork out almost €40 for it. I refused delivery and it went back! I then called into the guesthouse a few days later and met the proprietor/manager who "showed" me the hairdryer but refused to hand it over without the €40. I argued that I didn't ask for it to be sent by COD and would have picked it up once they phoned me like I had asked. And thats where the story ends. I never got my property back.
