Great central location, amazing breakfast, perfect Irish pub. As you might expect, the pub/local streets get busy during high profile sporting events (Rory's US Open win, the Cork/Kerry football game, etc.), That's all part of the Irish experience.

Tony was a wonderful host--he graciously helped us haul (too much!) luggage to four rooms and prepared a continental breakfast tray for friends that slept late. The rooms were spacious--some had been renovated. The hotel/pub is well located giving you access to all that Killarney has to offer.

I stayed here with my family. The hotel was in the centre of Killarney. It was close to all the facilities we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a nice homely feel to the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is built on top of a pub and is in dire need of re-renovation. The door in our en-suite bathroom didn't fit, leaving a half-inch gap down the side, the shower didn't work (no water at all) the restaurant was closed - the pub was full of noisy yobs, the nearest (paying) car park is 100 yds away (if there is space in it)
The window in our room was set into the sloping roof and had only a roll-down blind which didn't fit properly. The room was small and had no tea or coffee making facilities (had to order delivery to the room and the tea was undrinkable, having been obviously made with water which had been boiling all day ) The TV was so small I regretted having forgotten my binoculars - but it didn't matter since the thing was unwatchable anyway.
Internet access was a very iffy thing - sometimes worked, sometimes not.

My brother and sister stayed here for a family wedding near by and had the most positive experience. The owners Tony and Pauline aided by their daughter Kelly Ann were superb hosts, the staff Kevin, Ronnie and Marie waiting on us hand and foot and nothing was a problem eg; late breakfast, organising golf, dropping us to other venues in Killarney and generally providing a top class service. Our room was on the corner (304) with amazing views of killarney, one small drawback no tea & coffe making facilities in the room but freshly brewed coffee was delivered on request complimentary. Pauline herself cooks breakfast which we requested late the morning after the wedding which again was not a problem. It truly is a family run hotel with a family atmosphere and I will always recommend it in future
