Our party of five (all mid 50's, experienced travelers) stayed a few days here last October while we explored the Southwest. Spotless, lovely view and reasonably priced. The hosts were a bit tired (October is the end of the tourist season) but very nice. Good breakfasts, comfortable and large rooms. They have a small bar which is nice for a nightcap. I liked Killarney as a base for exploring because it had plenty of restaurants and pubs.

Thank you Paul and Annette for a wonderful weekend. The rooms were spotless and the whole hotel had a homely feel to it. The food was amazing and it was so difficult to choose what to have for breakfast every morning. The view is amazing and will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a luxurious relaxing break.

The surroundings were amazing and the hotel felt like a second home with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Paul made us feel very welcome and was more than willing to cater to any of our needs. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable, with magnificent views of the lake. Will be recommending to friends!

we have stayed at Loch Lein twice. Once in May of 2009 for 1 night. Thought so much of the service anda ccomodations, that when we planned our return trip to Ireland in August 2010, we stayed 3 nights. The meals are fantastic, Paul and Annette are primo hosts, their nephew is a "riot", the rooms are extremely comfortable, the bar is first class and the view is second to none. You can see the Ross Castle from the porch. Easy to find, especially when coming from the States, and are prone to get lost, they give excellent directions and are quite helpfull with advice as what to try to see and what is not worth the effort. We are planning another return visit in May of 2012, but will have the entire family, including grandkids. This will most certilnly be one of the places to stay and re-new semi-old friendships.
