This was our first trip to Ireland. We chose the 19th Green based on TA reviews and the fact that we were near Killarney but not in all the city traffic. Proximity to golf courses was also a factor.
It would be easy to repeat every positive review expressed about this Guesthouse, but it still would not do it or the owners, Frieda and John, justice. This place is special! If you want personal attention, a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, a delicious breakfast made to order and a clean and comfortable bed. This is your place my friends.
But that's not all. I'll tell you a little secret. Across the main road there is a little path that leads you to a pine needle foot and jogging path that will take you to sights that will take your breath away. You can park your car at the Guesthouse on arrival, and not use it. Just walk the 2KM trail to Killarney town centre, or continue on to the National Park and the Ross Castle and some excellent views of Lake Leane. You will discover plants that only grow in the Caribbean, believe it or not, all along this trail.
This place is a keeper, for all travelers, young, old, golfers and golf widows, hikers, families
or singles.
