Just want to congratulate The Quality hotel in Killarney for their wonderful hotel, the interior is a bit worn & the lobby could do with updating but besides this the facilities are excellent - the kids love the pool etc. & I have to say the gym is excellent. You need to be driving though as its a fair walk to the town - Killarney as ever is a wonderful place to holiday & I always relax when I down there.

After my recent stay with my family in August , I cannot fault this hotel. not only the food,the room,and the activities provided the staff is what stuck out to me the most. We booked an evening meal on the last night we were staying, the meal was superb and an delightful evening was had. The next morning we were getting ready to go, but we were going to have out breakfast there first. There was however long ques but they did move fast the young manager Stephen in the restaurant who was working was so kind and professional kept the ques moving swiftly and was so helpful and inviting and we were delighted with how we were treated. overall our experience was amazing and we will never forget it,and will be sure to call back again next year.! i hope this comment is helpful..

I stayed here with my husband and 4 kids, found it reasonably clean, few things were kinda worn looking but overall clean. food was good, maybe a little expensive. be warned, there is a LOT of families and its a BIG hotel. If you dont want to have to listen to screaming kids all day and night dont go there!!!!! We found it very hard to get the little ones to sleep with kids running up and down the halls at night!!! but it is a great place for kids! lots of activities, disco, games room, go karts etc. Theres a supervalue across the road if your stuck for something, but the town centre is a good bit down the road, not so good if you dont drive!!

Killarney continually wins awards for its "tidiness" and it is indeed a very clean, welcoming place. Maybe my favorite in all Ireland. And the Quality Hotel and Leisure Centre is likewise a very clean, tidy hotel. The only problem is that it's quite a good walk from the downtown.

The hotel complex is huge and my room was a nice little hike from the front lobby. However, compared to most hotels in the British Isles, this modern hotel offers a wide array of activities and niceties. Our breakfasts were from a very nice buffet offering a wide variety of delicious options. Dinner at the hotel was also quite satisfying with a very helpful and cheery wait staff.

Rooms were clean, nicely appointed and because it rained the whole time we visited, necessarily dry and warm. I actually needed to turn the heat on in July! My room had a nice TV, ironing board and iron, a fridge and big beds. Not luxurious, but quiet and comfortable which is all I ask when I'm on vacation.

Getting to and from the hotel could be a pain if one arrives by bus or train. With the constant threat of rain it could be a tad nasty walking back from the Irish music pubs late at night. However, across the street one could find a couple of convenience stores, fast food and a pub or two. The Quality Hotel's bar was also a pretty nice place to enjoy a Guinness.
