As a coach driver i find myself in Killarney on a number of times each year.Countess House is always my first choice as its near town,good coffee with breakfast,and the staff are good.Its also good value for money.

I stayed at countess house for 2 nights with my husband and we would highly recommend this B&B to anyone. The staff were very prompt with our check in and were friendly at all times during our stay. The cleanliness of the room was of a very high standard as was the entire building from reception area to the dining room. The only slight downside was the tv reception in the room wasn't great and there was no tea/coffee making facilities in room. The breakfast was fabulous with a great selection of cereals, yoghurts etc and the cooked breakfast was hot and tasty. The location of the B&B is great as the town centre is just around the corner. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this B&B if in Killarney again.

second year in a row coming to Noreen and staff with hiking gropus. Highly recommended for her professionalism and interest in making any guest get the best from their stay with her and from the town. Can use her kitchen for preparing group lunches, and she is always open to rustling up a pot of tea and coffee on arrival, offers to accommodate individual breakfast needs, not to mention storing baggage in her lounge area. You will not be disappointed. And you are a stone's throw from the town centre!

Countess House is the BEST place to stay when in Killarney! If your looking for an "at home feel" while away from home, this is the place to stay. The home is beautifully decorated. The rooms are one of a kind, as well as spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The hosts are AMAZING! Noreen and her daughter Orlaith were spectacular. They truly made me feel as though I was one of their own family members. They were so kind, and very helpful in telling us what to see and do while we were in Killarney. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much for making our trip truly delightful, and one of the best trips to Ireland we've ever experienced!
