Enjoyed our stay at Kiltevna House. Bernadette could not have been more helpful. She helped us make an appointment to see a local dentist for a small emergency; also TOOK our laundry to the cleaner while we toured the city! Wow! Comfortable room, and delightful breakfast. An EASY walk right into the heart of old Galway. Great place to stay.

We had very clean accommodations with a good sized bedroom and bath. Bernadette, the owner, made us feel welcome and served us a wonderful breakfast. She is very knowledgeable about the area and helped us with directions to Galway City Center (about a 10 min leisurely walk) and told us the best way to get to the ferry to the Aran Islands. This is a very convenient place to stay near Galway and is only about a block from a scenic walkway along the water's edge. It is a good base for exploring the Connemara region.

I would definitely recommend Kiltevna...rooms are small, but clean, and the husband & wife owners are so sweet and provided us with a menu of several options for breakfast (rare in B&B's). Location is great - just a 10 min walk, if that, into the town center, 1 block from the water...very pretty location indeed.

Very pretty main room and gardens. A great sun room to sit in and relax and read. Very helpful hostess, made a great breakfast. The house is a 15 min walk to Galway center...we also went into Salthil and found O'Connors famous pub, one of the most unique pubs we came across in all of Ireland and would highly recommend if you like things out of the ordinary. You could spend hours in there looking at all the stuff. Overall a very nice stay a the Kiltevna House, Galway as a whole was not our favorite city in Ireland, although it was clean and very nice people.
