We showed up late on a Saturday evening and were desperate for a room. Anna the owner gave us a warm welcome and was full of local knowledge of the area.

The room was very bright and spacious and all amenities, including free wifi which is always a bonus when you are traveling. We were really very comfortable and decided to stay an extra day.

The B& B is well located between the city centre, just a 5 min walk to town and you also have the Salt Hill promenade on your door step with lots of nice places to eat.

The real gem in this place was the beautiful dog who we were introduced to by Anna and Michael and she just wanted to lick you death.

The breakfast was delicious and they really know how to look after their guests. Would highly recommend to anyone for an enjoyable stay in Galway

we are a couple from israel and we stayed at Tara B&B this september (2010).
it was a wonderful stay!! the owners are very nice people that gives a great service.
it's in a great location in galway not so far from the main street.
the room were very nice and clean and the Breakfast was very good too!

This b&b was well run by Anna the innkeeper. It was clean and nicely decorated, and the bedroom was a good size. Room was very quiet and the mattress was comfortable - we slept well. Really enjoyed the breakfast - Anna is flexible , and will give you what ever you want. Anna and her husband Micheal were very helpful in recommending restaurants and providing accurate directions. There is no lounge for guests. There is off street parking. A good value for the money.

There's not many places I've stayed in the world where I can say I got the same VIP treatment as I did from this guesthouse., where to start, the rooms were modern and furnished with everything from hairdryer to ironing board and were ensuite. The guesthouse has free wireless as well.

The owners Anna and Micheal were very helpful and told us what were the 'hot spots' and the 'do not miss' areas in Galway and the other legs of our journey. The area is very picture perfect and unspoilt, the beach and ocean just around the corner, yet a short 10 minute walk will have you bang in the middle of the city centre. We also met the other 'owner' of the house, the owners delightful dalmation who seems to have heaps of time for just about anyone who will show here attention.

Galway is a must see on anyones itinerary, we only were able to stay here 5 days unfortunately but plan to stay longer next time.
