Upon arrival we really thought we had got what we paid for. The entrance and ambiance upon arrival could not have been better and painted a perfect picture however rooms and even corridor to rooms painted a completely different picture needs a total revamp! The room was plain and pokey (not 4* quality) and faced onto the entrance to what looked to have been a bus depot with extractor fans etc being what we had to view. I do feel i am fair when writing reviews and but have never been so unsatisfied for what i paid for, staff were very plesent and location couldn't have been better however but the hotel itself after leaving the foyer left alot to be desired and being for my partners birthday surprise i felt i would have much rathered the comfort of our own room! Unfortunately its not somewhere i would advise to stay if you are looking for 4* quality and something special! I have stayed in 3* hotels for less money that were more comfortaible.

I was staying in the hotel as part of a work incentive trip and I have to say the hotel was beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was fantasticl! Really relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location was second to none, right in the heart of what is now my favourite Irish city!!

Stayed one night. Reception areas elegant and comfortable. Our room was not in the main building. It was painted white, with white bed linen, whitish curtains and totally white bathroom. Not very luxurious or inviting, though clean. Photos of other rooms on trip advisor look much nicer. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special. 'silver' teapots very tarnished. No newspapers available to buy. We paid €131 which was a lot for the quality of out stay.

I was expecting so much more from this hotel. Stayed overnight at the weekend with a friend. Room was dated and not very comfortable. The heating was on all night and there was no air conditioning. Buffet breakfast was cold in the morning. I mentioned to the receptionist on checking out about the air conditioning she barely apologised and tried to avoid the subject completely.

Would never stay here again or recommend this hotel get better value elsewhere in Eyre Square for more modern comfortable stay!!
