“Great 1st b&b experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

Joe and Nora is really wonderful host. They make sure that I was really comfortable and breakfast was really good. I loved my room and quietness of the room was much appreciated after about 4 nights of really noisy hostel. Everything was clean and neat. The places that they recommend that I go was really good. The best part is that this place is within walking distance from the city. It help that Joe assured me that it was safe to walk in the night. I would recommend this place.

“Lovely couple”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 July 2011

We stayed for 2 nights on our trip to Ireland. Joe & Nora welcomed us with open arms which was lovely they also gave us good information on the area. I really wish I could say really poitive things about the B & B but it is very basic & compact with old furniture. However having said that they keep it very clean and the breakfast is good.
It is very close to Galway centre which was great fro getting out and about and enjoying Ireland.

“Best Irish breakfast ever...;)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 March 2010

We stayed with Nora for 2 nights and it was really great. She is so kind and in the same time so professional.Room was very clean and fresh with comfortable bed and enough space to both of us(me and partner).Although it is not new house, the place is spotless and with nice atmosphere-special thanks to Nora and Joe.We really felt welcome and as a real guests.Breakfast was absolutely delicious-with fresh sausages, smoked bacon, eggs, hot....I could say more but you need to check it by yourself. Also there is a Supervalue shop just near by.Only 5 minutes to beach and just about 7 minutes to city centre with nice pubs and craft shops.:)

“Living and Loving with Grandma”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2006

To be home with Grandma was what it was like staying at Nora’s. She was recommended from a fellow traveller and she was more than expected. My husband arrived with early flu symptoms and Joe, Nora’s husband made us a ‘Hot Toddy’ which was fantastic and really warmed us up and helped with the flu. You really don’t expect this when travelling. That aside Nora has been doing B & B for 38 years (and obviously loves dealing with people) which it is what you expect or hope a B & B will be. She is so lovely and our stay was like being with family and that’s what B & B is all about. Thank you Nora we won’t forget you. From Terry & Marilyn – Australia
