average hotel, quite old fashioned, food was nice we had a special offer on the weekend we were there, breaky ok nothign too fancy bit dissapointing over all would go back but wouldnt be first choice, bar is quite small and right next to the restaurant, rooms were a decent size thou, handy for a weekend away when you want a bed and a hot shower!

me and my girl friend stayed here over the summer just seen the pictures ye have up and i would like to say my room did not look like that we had to hold the window up with a old broom stick now come on when i seen the pictures i feel robbed and not happy

Really enjoyed this hotel. Walking distance to Eyre Square and shopping district. Nice restaurant and pub. Free on-site parking.

Me and 3 of my friends went on a vacation to Ireland over the summer. We stayed in 5 hotels all over the country and by far preferred the Western. We enjoyed the free wifi, excellent sleeping accommodations and a great view. I was also very surprised to get a suite with a kitchen and a terrace for such a good price. The only complaint if any I would have would be that we had some difficulty working the laundry machine. Apart from that i can truly say this was one of my most comfortable travel accommodations ever.
