After driving from Dublin on the morning we landed in Ireland, we arrived well ahead of check in time. Breda offered us a parking space and we set out to explore the city, only a short five minute walk. Returning to Ardawn about 5 pm, we checked into a clean, spacious, well furnished room, had some tea and cookies and with the sounds of football echoing from the nearby stadium took a delightful nap. Re-energized it was back out for dinner and more wandering. A great night's sleep and our first Irish breakfast, what a treat. Mike taught us that it doesn't drizzle in Ireland, "it's just a little soft." Our intinerary had us driving to Dingle otherwise we would have stayed for days. Highly recommend this B & B

The good: the owners were very nice and hospitable. The bad : the bathroom was tiny! This should have been noted on their web site........a very negative if we were staying more than one night.

Located right next to dog track on a very busy street. Also Needs updating. Breakfast was good.

We spent two nights at the Ardawn House in August, 2011. It is a lovely place to stay. Mike was so nice to drive our car in and out out of the parking lot since we are used to driving on the right. They have hot water and a variety of teas available in the parlor in the afternoons. We would definitely stay there again.
