We stayed in a private ensuite room. The room was bunk bed style which we didn't realise but the beds were comfortable enough. Probably the smallest room I've ever stayed in though! Breakfast was really good, staff were very helpful and Galway itself was great! Don't leave the heating on max all night though!

I stayed in this hostel with a group of friends. The rates were very cheap so we weren't expecting much. But it turned out to be a great hostel. It is less than a 5 minute walk from Eyre Square and there is a huge selection of pubs outside the front door.
I will definitely return to this hostel in the future.

The staff are fantastic.
Breakfast (toast, juice and tea) is free.
Our room was clean.
We had our own private bathroom and shower but...
...we got no sleep!

If you are not planning on sleeping on your trip to Galway this hostel is fantastic. However if you wish to be sleeping between the hours of 10pm and 3pm don't visit as it is located near many nightclubs, pubs etc. With no double glazing you have no hope. There was also a watertank or cleaning machine above our room which just added to the noise! Ear plugs didn't help...
