I stayed in this hotel for an overnight - would stay there again, location is fine, rooms were nice, the bar was lively & breakfast was good.

For a short business trip, this hotel is ideal. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable and the spa is very nice indeed. I had the pool myself and enjoyed the outdoor hot tub on a frosty February night. The food was disappointing: the hamburger was just three wrong side of average and the breakfast basic.

I've stayed in this hotel multiple times over the last 5 years on business, and its my primary choice for staying in the Galway area. The reception is light and airy with a sports bar in one corner and an open seated area/bar in the back. with a little golf putting green outside the window.

The staff are always smart, friendly and helpful.

Rooms are a good size and very clean, TV's have the usual collection of European satellite channels and some UK channels aswell, like channel 4, which the Irish can pick up. beds are nice a comfy, the duvet can make you get a bit hot at night as its a bit thick for my liking, but they may be just me.

I'm a big user of the gym and swimming pool which is free for people staying, Its is also open to non staying members, so can get busy at peek times, the gym itself is on the small side but has all the equipment you need for a good workout. and all the equipment is modern. The swimming pool is very nice. They require you to wear swimming hats for hygiene reasons, some like and some don't. They have 2 jazzuci's, indoor and outdoor, the outdoor one is great when there s light drizzle, which that's face it, happen's ALOT in Ireland.

Breakfast is in a buffet style, and there is alot of hot and cold choices, the quality of the food, both breakfast and evening dinners is excellent, I've also used the room service which is quick and the quality of the food is equally as good, and they will deliver alcohol with your room service.

Location wise you can be on Galway main street and in a bar within 10/15 mins depending how quick you want to walk.

car park is free, simple get your ticket when you go in to the car park, and when your leaving give it to reception and they will validate it for you.

Overall its a great hotel in a good location and great service, and I will continue to use it in future.

This hotel is in a great location to Galway city, the rooms are lovely and well equipped and staff very friendly and helpful. We booked two rooms through supervalu breaks for our stay but when we arrived the hotel only had one booking, this was sorted promptly and with little hassle. The only real complaint I would have is the bar food wasn't great, some of our food was luke warm. We ordered breakfast in bed which wasn't great, maybe if we had gone down for it would have been nicer? A heated or even just sheltered smoking area for guests would be a good! The piano player in the bar was great entertainment!
I would stay here again.
