We are frequent visitors to Jurys Inn Hotels in Galway and indeed Chelsea in London. Usually we have a good expereince during our stay.. We decided to take an upgrade this year in Jurys Inn Galway but would not advise it as it was not good value for money. The room was only standard and you were paying €20.00 extra a night for 2 small bottle of water a free paper and an irning Board in your room.. Total rip off. Bathroom decor was not grat and towels were inadequate being far too small.. Breakfast was good however and we had a quiet room so could get a good sleep. All in all not up to our usual satisfaction. We did Complain and eceived a voucher for 2 free drinks next time we stay!! thats if we decide to go back to Jurys Galway!!

This is excellently located at the end of Quay Street where all the action is. This is a very busy hotel but they keep the show on the road. The breakfast is impressive and the staff were very obliging - Price was my problem as there is no single rate and they charge 10€ for Internet.

Having stayed at this hotel before we knew all about its location- fantastic.On this occasion we stayed for New Years Eve and a few days after. We arrived at 12 and although checking in was not supposed to be until 2 we were told our room was ready. It was river facing that is the best side of the hotel. Staffs were excellent the breakfast is ok if not a bit basic. The entertainment on New Years Eve was again basic but given the rest of Galway was rocking we did not stay to ponder.

Downside is the hotel is showing signs of age, its in need of a major refurb. It could be because of its location one of the best in Galway. Instead it looks like a cheep budget hotel with rooms lacking any real comfort. No free wfi and no guide to the hotels services in the room.

Do not stay in this hotel, it's a total dump & complete waste of money. This hotel is crying out to be renovated & has deteriorated incredibly in the past 7 years. Only suitable for a rowdy stag party, at a push! Will never set foot in the place again! Really awful.
