Jury's Inn, Galway is in a great location, has modern, high standard rooms (approx 3-4 star) and is very clean and welcoming. Three of us (average age 30) stayed on a Saturday night, and really valued being able to come and go from the hotel to drop off shopping, get changed and come and go to dinner and the fantastic local bars. Our room over-looked the rushing River Corrib - a great Galway view.
The only downside we saw to the hotel was the staff's sometimes poor organisation, ie when we asked for an extra towel, we had to ring the desk twice, and only then we were brought... four bathmats(?!). One of the locals mentioned that was a nice Irish touch :-) ...Definitely something that wouldn't stop me staying there again.
