We only stayed one night. The lady was really nice, pleasent & helpful. The place was very cold especially having tiles in the main foyer. my friend found hair in her bed. Comfortable beds. Not enough blankets woke up quiet cold. Breakfast was really quiet good - one of the better breakfasts we had had. Basic but good! Porraige and eggs on toast and cereal.
If you are on a budget then this place is great but if you have an extra euros to spend then you could find something better.

This has got to be the worst place ever to stay in. Old and definitely in need of updating. Rust in the shower and a but dirty and grimy looking.
The walls are paper thin. In the morning I could hear the staff preparing breakfast in the kitchen and I could hear the other guests chatting over their breakfast. No need for an alarm clock! Curtains are really light so make no difference and once its bright outside I was awake. Would not recommend this to anyone. Not good value for money.

We've stayed in B&Bs before but this one was sadly lacking. From the outside looked good, great location etc but it is in need of some TLC to bring it up to standard. The furnishings were worn and dated. The decor was lack lustre and unwelcoming. The room we had was quite large but the en-suite was tiny, a bit of re-design and moving the bathroom wall out about a meter would gretaly improve the bathroom and take little away from the bedroom. Our party had 3 rooms and these comments applied to all the rooms we had. Because of the age of the fittings and furnishings it felt that cleanliness was poor - tile grout, shower curtains, carpets and linens were all old and in need of replacement.
Having said that the breakfast was good quality albeit with limited selections.

We (two adults, 14yo and 11yo) stayed a night here during our drive around Ireland. The B & B was in a great location - enjoyed a beautiful meal in the village of Salthill at a lovely little restaurant (the name escapes me, but it has a piano and they have meal specials - great!).

The beds were a little tired, however we enjoyed a good night's sleep, followed by a big breakfast in the morning. Sharon was very helpful, however her offsider looked as though someone had run over her cat!

A beautiful part of the coast - would recommend to fellow travellers!
