My family and I had just arrived into Galway from a busy week in Italy, we were greeted by RIta who was delightful and very friendly, she made us feel at home right away! Our rooms were very tidy and clean, we booked two rooms beside each other both rooms had lovely clean bathrooms attached. I loved the cozy beds which had excellent linens and duvet covers on them. The view from the front room of Galway bay was amazing!
The breakfast was outstanding, our kids loved all the selections of cereals and my husband loved the huge hearty Irish breakfasts.
Rita was so helpful when she told us about the surrounding attractions, Galway city is only a 5 minute drive, Rita even pulled out a Galway city map and showed us where was the easiest place to park!!!...

Again I cannot say enough about the excellent service, we have stayed at many B&B's over the years and this TOPS OUR LIST !!!!

One last thing... when traveling with young kids who tend to mess up there clothes Rita offered to put on a wash and dry the kids clothes !!!..........this is a first and one that we truly appreciated !

We will hopefully make it back to Ireland in the future, if so, we will be staying at Moytura.

Rita is great! Very accomodating and will help you with every need. Wonderful breakfast. Be respectful and treat her the way you would want any guest to treat you. You are a guest in her house.

I stayed at Moytura B&B because I was doing a course out in Spiddal for 5 days. I originally thought I'd stay the first 2-3 nights and then move closer to my course 30 mins away in Spiddal but Rita's welcome was so lovely, and the room was so cosy I stayed the full 5 nights. When I wanted to go for a run in the evening she suggested a safe running route for me and gave me a well-needed bottle of water when I got back. She even gave me a packed lunch for my long drive back to Wexford on my last morning! A lovely lady with very high standards.

Couldn't reccommend highly enough.

I recently enjoyed a two night stay at Moytura Bed and Breakfast. It was an excellent, welcoming experience to Ireland. The house was very clean and lovely inside and out and my room was cozy and peaceful. All rooms have TVs and the WiFi signal is excellent throughout the home. But instead of spending downtime on my own I found myself heading downstairs to the living room for tea, a little relaxation and maybe some friendly conversation with Rita.
Rita takes excellent care of her guests and does all she can to make sure they enjoy their stay in Galway as much as possible. She is happy to offer suggestions when planning the day and is very accommodating to the needs of her guests. I had car rental problems ended up being stuck without a car for a day. Rita suggested that I enjoy the lovely weather in the beautiful nearby region of Connemara. She arranged for tour bus to pick me up and dealt with my rental car pickup arrangements while I enjoyed my outing.
The accommodations are wonderful, the breakfasts are hearty and delicious but the best part of this B& B is the warm welcome and hospitality.
