My husband & I stayed at the Lissadell over the Christmas holidays and were quite impressed. This was quite a value for the bargain price we payed. We had a charming bedroom and very tasty Irish breakfasts in the mornings. (Christmas Eve & Christmas day, understandably, the owners set out continental spreads.) The common area in the house was quite nice, especially since it was decorated tastefully for Christmas. We used public transportation for all our Dublin touring & the Lissadell is just a few blocks from the Glenageary DART station.

We stayed at this B & B for 2 nights of our 8 day/7 night tour of Ireland. It was by far the best experience of all the guest houses we stayed in. The innkeepers were absolutely wonderful and helpful in every aspect. The breakfast was great too! Dublin was a quick 20 minute train ride up the coast. We hope to return in a couple of years to spend a full week in the Dublin area and we'll definitely be staying at this guest house.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was warm and comfortable. The owners were great about helping us find anything we needed. I wish we had stayed there our first night in Dublin, not only our last. The only problem was the triple room while we were on our honeymoon! That was quite a laugh....

Great to see a younger couple own a B&B. Makes me want open one too!
