“Friendly people, clean and comfortable room, free wifi”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

I had booked this room a couple of months ago and then misremembered my flight date, so I arrived one evening early. Fortunately they had a room for the extra night, and the price was very reasonable even at the last minute; and the clerk made sure I could have the same room for both nights.

The room was comfortable and clean. the water pressure in the shower was adequate, the wifi was free and fast, and given that I slept on top of two layers of duvet with a sheet (which I requested) covering me, the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was all ready to help people go into the city — they had a Dublin map with an attached card providing information on bus routes and fares. All in all, great value for money.

Breakfast was adequate, better than some I've had at similar hotels.

My only real complaint was the position of the faucet of the bathroom sink. It is located to the side of the sink rather than the back, which means that washing hands requires holding one's wrists in a slightly awkward and uncomfortable position. (I am not enamored of designers who consider only aesthetics and not ergonomics — how things will be used is even more important than how they look.)

“Excellent for pre-flight stay - can't beat the value”

We stayed one night after our week in Ireland, prior to a morning flight back to the US. Front desk extremely helpful including giving us clear directions when we couldn't find the hotel. NOTE: It is not signposted from the main road and is easy to drive by. Clean, good-sized comfortable room with easy to access wi-fi. Eating options at the Crowne Plaza next door and on-time airport shuttle. Couldn't ask for more and all for 49 Euro. Will definitely use this option on next trip. Hotel is close to Thrifty/Dollar car rental which made things easy too.

“Good Value for money”

This was my second time staying here on business over the past couple of months. I could not fault this hotel. It is good value for money, clean and conveniently located. It is basic, but that is all I needed. There’s not much of a bar in the hotel, but you can go next door to the Crowne Plaza which has a full bar and restaurant. I would recommend this hotel for anybody needing somewhere to stay in the area.

“Fantastic find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

We booked this hotel as we were travelling up from Cork for our early morning flight from Dublin.
We have two young boys and wanted somewhere comfortable but it didnt need to be overly luxurious as we were only there from late afternoon to early the next morning.
I could not fault it. The hotel was easy to find off the M50 and parking was abundant and secure. We paid 6 euros for parking which was very reasonable.
Check in was seamless and the staff member was very helpful. The room itself was spotlessly clean and was perfect for what we needed. The bathroom was a great size and the room was too though with all our luggage and 2 kids the room tends to fill very quickly!
We ate next door at the Crowne Plaza which was reasonably priced and very nice. There is a huge park across the way but it was too late for us to explore it.
We drove ourselves the the airport though the hotel did offer the airport transfer bus.
I was thoroughly impressed by this no fuss hotel, it suited our needs to a tee.
It was very inexpensive and the service provided was fantastic.

“Very nice clean and comfy hotel near airport”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

Myself my husband and daughter stayed here for a night before we flew to the middle east on an early flight next morning.I was very glad we did. We got a deal which included 9 nights parking one nights accomadation including breakfast a great deal booked directly with the hotel. When we arrived it was late at night but the receptionist was very friendly and helpfull and told us what food options were available in the area. We opted for pizza which was delivered to the room and Delicious. The multi storey car park is very good and well light and right on site. The room was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean and there was another bed made up for my daughter(which i had requested)Next morning the breakfast was very good ,lots of choice and free! The shuttle bus arrived on time and had us to the airport in about 8 minutes. Brilliant, I really wouldnt go beyond it when we do need to stay at the airport again. The receptionist from Jakarta, Deevy was so sweet and helpfull and that really does make a difference. well done Holiday inn, Keep up the good work..
