I had booked this room a couple of months ago and then misremembered my flight date, so I arrived one evening early. Fortunately they had a room for the extra night, and the price was very reasonable even at the last minute; and the clerk made sure I could have the same room for both nights.
The room was comfortable and clean. the water pressure in the shower was adequate, the wifi was free and fast, and given that I slept on top of two layers of duvet with a sheet (which I requested) covering me, the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was all ready to help people go into the city — they had a Dublin map with an attached card providing information on bus routes and fares. All in all, great value for money.
Breakfast was adequate, better than some I've had at similar hotels.
My only real complaint was the position of the faucet of the bathroom sink. It is located to the side of the sink rather than the back, which means that washing hands requires holding one's wrists in a slightly awkward and uncomfortable position. (I am not enamored of designers who consider only aesthetics and not ergonomics — how things will be used is even more important than how they look.)
