This was our second time staying in the Maldron, Smithfield. Once again it was very reasonable and we enjoyed our stay. It is comfortable with good service and a very good price. Perfect if you are on a budget. Also quite close to the centre of the city, especially with the Luas.

The Maldron Hotel was lovely. The bedroom we stayed in was on the 5th floor with a lovely few of the city. Especially at night. The room was very clean and comfy. Had everything that you need..The gentleman at reception was lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the waitresses were lovely. The hotel is about 10mins walk from temple bar, but is also 1min away from the luas. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again
the car parking was located around the back of the hotel, you had to walk back round to get into hotel. We also drove past the hotel twice, you wouldn’t expect to find a hotel where it was located, but all the same, it is a lovely hotel.

I stayed here recently for one night when going to a concert in the O2 and it was alot better than I had expected. We got a great rate for a Saturday night so we thought it would be a very basic hotel but our room was nice and had everything we needed. The Luas was only 1/2 mins away and was so handy for going into the city centre and out to the O2. We arrived early just after 12pm and were allowed to check in so we were delighted. We were on a room only basis so we didnt have breakfast but there was a shop right next door that served all kinds of hot food and you could sit in there also so that suited us perfectly. Will definitely stay again if going and would recommend it to anyone going up for a concert in the O2 as it was so handy.

From check in to check out the staff were excelliant. Very friendly and a service with a smile. As for the hotel, secure parking, very clean, rooms were very comfortable, good bar and close to city center. Very enjoyable stay. Will definitely be back again.
