I would highly recommend a stay at Azalea Lodge in Dublin. I apologize for the delay in writing this review as I visited in August 2011 for 3 nights. I was greeted with a cup of tea and wonderful scones; a welcome treat after a long drive. Each morning, breakfast was amazing. We had fresh fruit, more of the fabulous scones, and a made to order breakfast. A wonderful way to start a day's sight-seeing around Dublin. I stayed in the single front room which I was warned could be noisy, but with my trusty foam ear plugs I had no trouble sleeping at all. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean with a large bathroom and shower. Bernadette is an excellent hostess and was really helpful in giving directions and recommendations. I had a wonderful visit and can't wait to return. Highly recommended!
