After booking tickets to Snow Patrol gig at the o2, we were on a budget, so we opted for the Abbott Lodge Guest House. Located 15 minute walk from the Temple bar area and about 30 minutes to the o2 the location was pleasing, Rooms where small but clean. The breakfast was good too, Sausage, Bacon, beans, eggs and toast with orange juice and cereal if you wanted that instead, The coffee was nice that they served.Reception was very helpful although wi-fi was down the whole weekend, this was ideal for a couple / backpackers or anyone on a budget. We'd reccomend here to people for its location and price.

Had a long weekend to Dublin beginning of December and stayed in the Abbot Lodge Guest House, the place was really clean and the breakfast was good value for the value we paid for the accomodation, really handy for all the pubs and shops, would recommend the lodge for whenever you visit Dublin.

Arrived at reception and felt welcomed! Got into room and very pleased with how modern and clean it was the floor did seem to be a bit on a slope but that's character! The climb up the stairs seemed a bit of hard work but what do you expect in these buildings! Breakfast was delicious the lady serving was efficient but a little short, reception staff are lovely. Will be staying again very decent rate too

Its horrible dirty- noisy- smelly- souless- cramped.
Its near to Town,but so are thousands of other better places.
Looks absolutly nothing like the photos and in all honesty because of its cheap prices attracts drunks,fighting stag/hen parties and people who smoke on the doorstep til 4am being very very noisy.
Dont say you havnt been warned! Stay somewhere else.
