Aparments were very clean and had everything you could possibly need! lose to local shops for food and drink ect... Temple bar was about a 5 minute walk and shopping centre around 10. Very easy to get to everything and only around a 20minute journey from the airport. Could not fault these aparments at all! Worth every penny... will 100% stay here again!! Also people are very nice and helpful but there are alot of beggers who will ask you for money but are still nice even when said no you havent. Mezz in temple bar is a very good bar kind of a rock bar but atmosphere is brillliant! and also so is fitzsimones club. Drinks are not that expencive but can be if you get a sprit and seprate bottle of mixer so i alwyas asked coke or lemonade from tap which come to around 5 euro if not would be around 7.50 euro.

All together its one of the best palce to stay

Room Tip: We stayed in apartment 26 which was 2 double bedrooms. Very lovely

“Great value, convenience, service”

I have now stayed in various apartments in Christchurch Hall three times on visits to Dublin. The facilities have always been spotless, comfortable, and at least adequate for a stay of up to two weeks. I have entertained other people to dinner on five or six occasions (the one-bedroom apartments include a dining table and three chairs; the two-bedroom apartments contain a bigger dining table and six chairs), and found the kitchen equipment up to the job. And the nearby Meath St market - open every day but Sunday - is excellent for fresh meat, fish and vegetables in just the quantities one might wish; while even closer are various convenience shops (Tesco, Centra, etc) for a good variety of non-food and slightly costlier food items. The savings for a visiting couple, over a stay for multiple days in a hotel (given the need if housed in a hotel to buy meals in restaurants) is very significant.

“Great Location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

Christchurch Hall Apartments are in a great location to see much of Dublin. We stayed there for a few days in the end of October and although we rented a car at the airport, we were able to walk everywhere. It is close to the Guinness Brewery, the Jameson Distillary, Christchurch and St. Patrick's cathedrals, Temple Bar, the shopping streets, Brazen Head and The Leprechaun Museum. The good location makes up for some of the negatives such as loud street noise, an elevator that never worked, a leaking ceiling and a terrible shower. If you are expecting four star accomodations, you'll be disappointed. If you you want a clean place to stay with the convenience of a kitchen and laundry facilities, you'll like the Christchurch Hall Apartments. There are several small grocery stores and the kitchen is adequately equipped. There aren't any televisions in the bedrooms, but the beds are comfortable. The staff is very helpful and accomodating. We asked if they could provide outlet plug converters and they brought us a couple within a few minutes of calling down to the desk. Parking is several blocks away but it is a gated parking garage so it was a safe place to leave the car.

“Took a chance”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 November 2011

We took a chance based on other reviews of the apartments. 4 of us stayed in a two bed room apartment. First the good. Location was great. the kitchen was very nice. The furnishings were modern. It was nice to have a balcony regardless of it facing the back alley. Now the Bad. The walls were a bit dirty and the place could have used a fresh coat of paint. The paint was peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom and the grout in the tiles was dirty. All this was most likely due to the faulty exhaust fan. To no fault of StayDublin, there was a party next door with a live band that was quite loud until 2:30am. If you sleep lightly, you should not stay here in the city. The worst part of the stay is that the cleaning crew started loudly cleaning the apartment above us at 4:30am, waking the light sleepers of our group. We though this was very inconsiderate of the guests.

Room Tip: The rooms are much smaller than you are led to believe on the website.

“Affordable and convenient”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

Staying at the Christchurch Hall, while in Dublin on business trip for a week. The apartments are nice, and certainly in better condition than the St Augistine's apartments (run by the same company, and stayed there in the beginning of the year).
The building is on a very busy road, so if you can't stand the noise, you have to ask for an apartment overlooking the back of street. On the other hand, the location is extremely convenient and central. It is located 5-10 mins walk from all the shop/bar/restaurant areas, but away from the noise of the Temple bar.
Looking at reviews from earlier in the year, it looks like they have done some renovation, at least to the communal areas.
The apartment itself, is nicely decorated, very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen could have benefitted from some additional bits and bobs (eg bowls!). The shower is very good, and the place was clean and tidy when we arrived.
On arrival our key was not available for collection. As the reception is not staffed, we had to call the information number. They informed us within a few minutes that they have changed our room, so all was sorted quickly.
Considering how expensive everything is in Dublin, the accommodation is very affordable, and if staying here more than a few nights, I think it's quite convenient to have your own space, and save a few euros in meals!

Room Tip: Apartments facing the back street will be quieter
