Great parking and you can get the bus across the road straight into town. The buses are very regular and when I asked at the reception for the bus times, the receptionist googled the bus times and printed them off for me, which was extremely helpful and great service. I love the bar. The seating is gorgeous and cosy. It's quite an old fashioned hotel, with lots of mahogany wood and soft furnishings and a traditional looking bar. There is a carvery for lunch/dinner and a glass cabinet full of desserts. I had stuffed mackerel one the first day and turkey and ham dinner with stuffing, cranberry sauce and traditional vegetables. The only flaw is that the cappuccino is AWFUL... if is made with a very cheap machine but still priced quite high. The tea is also not great. The tea pots cause all the water to spill out while pouring... However, this is the perfect hotel to relax and unwind in... you can take a bus into the city and come back very easily; have something to eat in the hotel, stay and drive home. Excellent. Even the bathrooms are traditionally lavish
