Stayed there 3 nights. Simple but good. Clean, free tea, breakfast available but way too early. On the edge of Temple Bar so a really good location.

this dump would pass Fawlty towers for a 3* hotel , where do i start ? the lousy bed , the dirty carpet , the handwasher aka sink in the bathroom , the cold water only shower , the electric wires hanging off the wall , the incessant outside noise , the bedbugs bites , the useless remote ( not a problem really as the 80's kind of mini-tv didnt work either ...) I wouldn't go back in this place if they paid me for , enough said ...

We had 2 rooms last night (12th dec 2011). And yes its basic. but fine for a lads night out on the town. some where to put you head down.

Was a bit noisy from 8am, but that didn't bother me much.

I got the rooms for 29 euro each off the internet off a popular hotel booking site

Right opposite the "porter house", a famous pub in dublin. And only 5 mins walk from temple bar, and another 5 mins to city center.

Basic, cheap, central.

The room was clean, and in terms of comfort well you pay for what you get. My room was very cheap and it was just a place to sleep really. In saying that the room was clean and the shower worked fine. Our room was at the front of the building though so it was very noisy until about 2am due to traffic.
