My partner and I spent three nights at the O'Calloghan Alexander Hotel over New Year. We loved it! Great location, easy to walk to most places and minutes from the Green Hop on Hop Off bus, which is a must if you visit Dublin! Our room was very clean and a good size with a HUGE very comfortable bed. Usual coffee and tea making facilities plus flatscreen tv, iron and hairdryer. The hotel was very quiet, which meant we did not get disturbed at night or early mornings at all! Breakfast was buffet style and very good. Only negative is that the bathroom could do with updating since ours had cracks in the tiles and looked a bit shabby. However, all in all, an excellent hotel which I would strongly recommend. We would definitely stay here again if we ever came to Dublin, which we hope to one day.
