Such a nice hotel.It has lovely old features, small cosy homely rooms and It's spotless.Big comfy beds and goosefeather duvets! Great selection of movies and internet on your tv. Breakfast spread is great. The bar itself in the hotel is really nice, great atmosphere and live music on a friday. Really enjoyed a few relaxed drinks here.Staff very nice and extremely welcoming and helpful. You can walk to Merrion Square and town very easily. Only tip: Book two nights and really enjoy it and if you want to dine at Olivers restaurant book well in advance, it's very popular. Book it! :-)

We recently stayed in the Schoolhouse hotel for one night recently whilst in Dublin and the hotel lived up to all expectations of a 4* property.
The staff were courteous, friendly, well informed and couldn’t have been more helpful from check in through to check out. Our rooms were cosy, quiet and warm and in general the hotel had a very homely like feel to it.
The following morning we were delighted to discover that the breakfast was cooked to order and in keeping with the service we had experienced so far we were not disappointed.
The hotel location is excellent and is within a 10 minute walk of Grafton St.
The only drawback to the overall experience is that the car-park is exceptionally tight and it can be difficult at time to get ones car in and out. Overall though on a positive note we were very impressed with the hotel in general.

This is a charming little hotel approximately 15-20 minutes pleasant walk from the City centre. Once a school, many of the original features still remain, giving the building a cosy atmosphere.

Our room was located on the ground floor just beyond the reception area. It was spacious and well equipped, clean and tidy. And there was no traffic noise, which was great as I'm a very light sleeper.

The staff on reception were delightful: very friendly and helpful, as were the ladies at breakfast.

My 8-year-old and I enjoyed our stay so much that we've booked again for February half-term.

This very nice hotel is with easy walking from Dublins City Centre. We were given this stay for Christmas by our kids. Thanks kids.
The hotel is a quaint small hotel with very good rooms well decorated to a good standard with an old fashioned designed but with good facilities. The rainfall power shower is an experience very powerfull.
The breakfast was very nice with a good choise of hot and cold dishes served in the dinning room. The bar is nicely furnished and a good bar snack menu and good value.
The only stight failure is the small recption but everything else was 5 star with WiFi in rooms and friendly staff and atmosphere. A very relaxing stay.
