We recently booked this hotel and stayed for one night. The elevator was not working and the room needed to get a major decoration. It was kept clean. The location is very good and is reasonably priced. The staff were very good and helpful. We had one problem they recommended the Abbey Car Park as the said it was the cheapest. It was supposed to cost 12 euro but when we went to collect it the next day it was 23 euro and they would give us no reduction. I went back to the Hotel and told them and in fairness to them they were totally surprised. The offered to give me the balance but I would not take it. It was a very nice gesture of them. One thing about this Hotel the bar attached to it is top quality. It was mid-week and there was a good crowd. The bar man was very friendly and a real professional at his job. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Myself and two friends stayed here for a night because we were going to a concert in the o2, it was a very central location o'connell street was just around the corner and the o2 is about a 15 min walk from the hotel, if your lazy like we were ther's plenty of taxi's around but there not too cheap(on average 7-8€ to the o2 if that's your destination) and wasn't a bad price for a triple room which we got for €94. the room itself was ok and very clean though only a skylight for a window and can get quite warm there is a fan in the room if that helps.It's not a modern hotel but what do you expect for that price.The location I have to say was brilliant as we were doing alot of shopping so it was great to be able to drop off some shopping and go do some more!the staff were really friendly and helpful, i would definetly recommened this hotel and will be staying here again

This hotel does not welcome families with small children, they have no cots available at all and there isn't enough space in the rooms for you to bring your own travel cot.

I recently stayed at the clifton court hotel with my 9yo daughter and the night we spent there was a nightmare.The room was shabby,the bedding dirty and the bathroom smelly.Worst of all was the noise,outside our room was air con vent that made a constant racket,then after 10 o'clock the noise from the downstairs disco didn't stop until gone 2am.Definitely not for a family stay.
