Was there for the Notre Dame/Navy Football game & was greeted on arrival by a bagpiper standing outside in front of the castle, with the Notre Dame & Ireland Flags waving on the flag poles - WOW! Room was ultra modern - flat panel TV, glass wall shower, very comfy beds & pillows & safe in room. Air conditioning in room, but can't keep up, but windows opened wide (no window screens in ireland). Bar was big & alot of seats at bar & many tables. Food was good in bar. Free breakfast served (buffet & hot). 15 minute walk to the dart & easy to get off (2 stops) to Pierce (Trinity Campus). It seemed to be a modern hotel hooked on to a castle structure. Lots of parties & weddings - but liked that it was busy. Special shout out to Peter the bartender, Vijay at the front desk, & Mark (concierge - Eric retired) for great customer service.
