I just came from a short trip to Dublin and I have both good and bad things to say regarding Booms Hotel:
On the good side, this Hotel has probably the best location in Dublin city center. Its in the heart of the Temple Bar area, about 100m from Trinity College.
On the other hand, Its noisy, very noisy, couldnt sleep with the windows open even if you are on the 5th floor as we were. The beds are also very small, I'm 1.89m tall and could not fit inside. By the time we were there, It was hot in Dublin, and as we could not open windows during the night due to the heavy noise outside ( from the aircon machines of the Disco M) we did not really rest along the night.
It also looked to me quite expensive for the service provided, NO WIFI on rooms, only in the common areas, low water preassure in the shower and small bed.
I would look for another deal next time in Dublin, although as I said, location is perfect.
