Rough on outside....and quite antiquated inside. Very well heated which on a cold winters day can be nice but can be overpowering and room heating not easily controlled. Has a nice breakfast and restaurant facilities...all OK. Rooms at front have nice view of Dublin bay. Easy access to bus and Dart services to central Dublin.

I had a one night stay here for business. The building looks fairly rough on the exterior, but inside is fine. The staff were nice enough, and I had a good night sleep. The car park was a bit dire though, it's just a gravelled area with no markings at all. For a business trip this place is nicely priced and suits all your needs. I wouldn't go here on vacation though.

I recently stayed in this hotel and found it old and in need of updating.
1) The bedrooms were tidy and clean
2) The furniture seemed to be from the 70's
3) The shower took 15-20min for the hot water to kick in. So a cold shower was not nice :-(
4) The bed was unconfortable
5) Spot lights outside the window made the room brighter than I would have liked
6) It was pricy at €80

I stay here quite regularly for work as my workplace is close buy. Its fantastic value for the location at around €55 per night room only with free car parking. The rooms are basic, the beds comfortable and the shower is fine.

It’s not a hotel to go on holiday but it is fantastic value for its location which is 10 minute taxi to Stephen’s Green or a 10 minute walk to the RDS.

I tend not to eat here so cannot comment on the food.

The hotel is probably in need of a refit but €55 per night including car parking in D4 it’s hard to complain. My 4 star rating is for value and location rather that the hotel itself.

I’ve always found the staff at reception to be friendly and helpful.
