What can I say, we really enjoyed ourselves here and the children loved it too. The staff were helpful and attentive.

We were shocked at how big the family room was, were expecting lots of beds (3) in a small room, wow what a plesant suprise. The room had everything in it, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and board, hair dryer and safe! For a 3 star hotel thats like 5 star quality.

Right on the river banks, so had a partial view of the river, and all the shops and places to eat near buy.

Breakfast was a huge selection and the staff always came to the table and asked us if we needed anything else, specially the children (5yrs and 2yrs).

Would definetly recommend this place, high quality for low price.

The Arlington Hotel at O'Connell Bridge is ideally situated for the city centre and the main street, O'Connell Street and the O'Connell Bridge are on the doorstep. I had booked in there as an ex-colleague had chosen to have his retirement function at the Hotel. The Hotel is spacious and the Hotel Staff very friendly, courteous and efficient. The room was of a good size, very clean, and included satelite TV, a comprehensive local guide, and a large and very clean en suite bathroom. My room was at the back of the Hotel so fairly quiet although, being in a City centre location some noise is inevitable and unavoidable. The atmosphere in the Hotel Bar was typically Irish, with dancing during the early part of the evening and live traditional music of a high standard later. The Restaurant was comfortable, with wide menu choices at reasonable prices. Breakfast was buffet style with a full range of breakfast items from Cereals, Toast, Fruit, Bread selection, Teas, Coffees and a superb 'select yourself' hot cooked breakfast, complete with white pudding ! Very reasonable prices for a city centre hotel. I was extremely impressed with this Hotel in all respects and would not hesitate to recommend it.

A well situated hotel for everything you want to do in Dublin and just across the river from the Temple Bar pubs and restaurants. The staff in the main were excellent and the room modern, clean and tidy and not too noisy outside- we were however on the side.
Breakfast was excellent and well serviced. Went to their show and booked a table and 3 course meal for 29 euros each. Meal was good and we had a table near the front. Two criticisms- the acoustics or mikes were bad and you had difficuly hearing the words- the staff were strict in keeping the eating area resrved in the first half but not in the second half bearing in mind people who paid nothing ended up in front of us and spoilt our evening.
We visited the Guiness Warehouse and venjoyed the way you could brose around the various floors at your convenience. The atmosphere in the bars is terrific with most having music from lunch times to early morning. We would recommend the Temple Bar andJohn Gogarty, but the most reasonable pub is just across the river from the hotel and turn left. Messrs Maguire- they brew there own beers and lagers, but no music.
If you go to Dublin expect it to be expensive in the bars and restaurants and even for a pint of Guiness.

We stayed at the Arlington O'Connell Bridge from 17/10/09 until 19/10/09 for our wedding anniversary and was upgraded to a river view suite on the 2nd floor (236) GREAT ROOM.... be warned though unless you don't mind a little noise MOVE...

The room was fantastic 1 HUGE bed and 2 singles.... ensuite bathroom etc it was great however it did need a few calls to reception, the lamps didn’t work, the shower didn’t work but as they say if you don't complain you don’t gain... we gained complimentary breakfast which is 10 Euros a day each....

Once that was sorted it was off to Dublin's fair city.... be prepared to take plenty of money as you will need it!!!!!!!!!!

The Irish Government can not want tourists at the moment as its so expensive 3 Euros for a coke!!!!! 6 for a beer 6.60 for a small wine.... the food is reasonable they do earlybird meals up until 7pm approx 14.95 for a 3 course but don’t expect a full blown meal, have lunch that day hahahaha

The Arlington also has a bar downstairs called the Knightsbridge Bar this is massive... and VERY DARK...its open of a weekend until 3.30am with a DJ, be warned though they also advise you to watch your handbag as they have many foreigners in groups not drinking in there at all just taking handbags! ... what I don't understand is why do they let them in when they know its mainly residents in there????????

They also have Irish Dancing an Irish Music on in there which is very good for a laugh.

Above all the Arlington is tops for location 5 mins to Temple Bar, Grafton Street etc...

Ryanair £1.00 flights what more can you want... Enjoy Dublin !
