“Fab as usual !”

We have just come back from a two night stay at TheTownhouse. This was our third stay with them and as always we received a warm welcome and enjoyed staying in a clean and well serviced room. The breakfast is always great and we have always found it lovely and quiet to sleep at night. The bed linen and towels have always been sparkling white. It is very central so 5 mins from O'Connell Street, 2 minutes from the Bus Station and 5 mins from the train and tram station. There is also a bus stop right outside the door and as well as the buses being local for the airport the stops for the Air Coach back to the airport are also close by. The local staff are always lovely, friendly and welcoming, unfortunately this cannot always be said for some of the staff assisting with the breakfast routines in the mornings but this is honestly the only let down. I would always stay here for my trips to Dublin without a shadow of a doubt.

Room Tip: Would recommend when booking that you ask for a room in the new part of the building.

“Good value and great location”

We recently stayed here on a trip throughIreland and it was great!
The location of The Townhouse is only a 5 min walk from O'Connell st and 10 mins from Temple Bar which makes exploring Dublin very easy.
The rooms were clean and comfortable and serviced each day and they also have a full Irish breakfast which always makes a good start to the day.
Wifi zones and access to computers made it easy to catch up on emails and we also used the laundry on site as we had been travelling for some time.
Would definitely stay again and recommend.

“Great place!!”

I have stayed at the Townhouse Hotel for four nights and I have to say me and my girlfriend enjoyed it very much. The room was clean and nice, the price paid was very good, the location was very close (5-10mins walk) to the city centre. The staff was very friendly and we had room service almost every day. The breakfast was ok, they could have had more options but all in all was good. The only problem we had was a spider which accompanied us one of the evenings, but we have just seen him once. Also the TV is very poor only has a few bad quality channels, but we weren`t interested in TV as we came to Dublin to visit, so this wasn`t a problem for us.
I would definitely come to stay here again!!!

“Great Place to stay!”

Stayed at The Townhouse 20th - 22nd January 2012. Purpose of my trip was to see Snow Patrol at The O2 (who were amazing!!).

The Townhouse is located on Lower Gardiner Street. It is practically in walking distance of most places. The famous o'connell street is a 5 minute walk, Temple bar area is about a 10 minute walk, and The O2 is about a 15 minute walk. For those that dont like walking The Townhouse literally has a bus stop on its door step! We got a bus directly from the airport (Green Bus, cost 10 euros return), and we got dropped off about 2 minutes away from this hotel....very convenient!!

The Townhouse is a good basic hotel. It was clean, tidy and was cheap. We paid 106 Euros for x2 nights (x2 adults). The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis, and fresh towels were supplied. An Irish breakfast is served on a morning; it was delicious. The hotel has 'free wi-fi zones', and computers are available to use free of charge.

We had a really pleasant stay, and I would certainly stay again.

If you visit Dublin make sure you go to Temple Bar...it is amazing (the food is really good too). We also visited Dublin Castle and Kilmainham Gaol......definitely worth a visit!

“GREAT PLACE!”

Super stay! Rooms were wonderful. Comfortable, clean and full of character.
Breakfast (Basic Irish Fry Up) was excellent! Staff was so friendly and helpful.
I'm not a huge Dublin fan so I guess the hotel was my favorite part of the trip.
I just loved hanging out in the beautifully decorated lounge with fireplace ablaze and talking to the kind folks working behind the desk. Extremely central location as well. Right in the middle of it all. Thanks for a great and memorable stay.

Room Tip: Ask to be away from the elevator if possible as it was a tad noisy. Also, the back of the building...
