I've stayed in the Gresham on a few occasions now, and being a new to TripAdvisor, I wanted to say how much I've always enjoyed my stays there.
I think it's in a great location, parking nearby [in a multistory at the back of the hotel, which has a favourable rate for hotel guests] and generally I've managed to get pretty good rates for staying there through their own website.
On the down side, the hotel can look a bit old and worn from time to time, and I've noticed that some rooms are in better condition than others.
The breakfasts are pretty good - the usual buffet fare, but nothing wrong with that. I've never had an issue with staff there, and on the few occasions I've had problems they were sorted out with a minimum of fuss.
Anytime I'm flying out of Dublin (unless it's a really early flight) I like to stay here and have the city centre at my feet. It's a treat to be able to walk out the door and be in Temple Bar with its great restaurants and vibrant buzz, inside of 5 minutes.
As I've said, I've been before and will probably stay again.
