I stayed with two friends in a triple room and we had to have the maintenance team up twice for a faulty toilet. The shower stopped up the tub so far that the water was above our ankles. The room was in front, and while we were across from Christchurch Cathedral, it also left us open to the police, ambulance and fire truck sirens all night. The layout of the breakfast bar (9 Euros) was so disorganized that guests wondered in circles searching for things. The staff was polite enough but completely disinterested. Do yourself a favor: for the cost, take a moment to research the Trinity Capital Hotel on Pearse St.

If you're looking for a great city center location in Dublin, this is the place. Very close to Temple Bar and the other tourist sites in Dublin. Rooms are just OK, hotel services are better than most. Very friendly staff.

I really hate giving a bad reveiw :(...but this hotel would not be in business if it was not in the location that it is!! We arrived at reception to be told we hadnt paid for the room, we had but seeing as it was a Sunday they couldnt check with our bank for the transaction..so we paid twice and are waiting a refund for the 2nd payment. That didnt bother us to much though.
We got to our room and it was so dark! the lighting was very bad even with lamps etc all on, the bathroom was tiny! the paint in the bath was chipped and dated, but the room was clean and the veiw nice.
There was no iron, no room service and if you wanted breakfast to your room you had to go get it and carry it up yourself (defeats the purpose really).
There was 3 plug sockets 2 were not working so I had to plug my blow dryer in the wardrobe and do it there.
The internet in your room is 5 euro for 1 hour!! and 10 euro for a night, I thought this was shocking, as well as Parking being 32 euro!!! so make sure the reception validate your parking ticket that will bring the price down to 14.40, still very expensive for parking for one night in a hotel. And just as a warning the carpark itself is very tight.

Overall I would not stay here again, there are so many cheaper better standerd of hotel in the city so shop around and give this one a miss unless you like to throw your money away while walking around your room in the dark looking for a working socket! :)

The staff are nice enough, but for the business traveler this hotel is a no no. There are exactly two plugs available by the desk - no extension cords available from the hotel. So you can plug in your computer, and your phone, but not anything else. The room is so dark that even with an additional lamp it's too dark to work. Close to Dublin city centre but basically annoying otherwise. Geez, I know the laws regarding lightbulbs, but this is absurd.
However, the pub next door is actually a fish and chips restaurant, and worth visiting.
