“Fabulous Stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago with a friend of mine! Hotel is gorgeous!! We had a room over looking the River Liffey, huge bedroom - very luxurious & the bathroom was very large! Bed was very comfortable!! James Byrne was a total pleasure to deal with & was more than accommodating with my booking! Will certainly be staying here again soon!

“Are there two Morrison Hotels in Dublin?”

I think I must have stayed at the wrong Morrison Hotel in Dublin. The Morrsion Hotel I stayed in had dark and unkempt bedrooms, and greasy breakfasts and slow, slow lifts. Shame because I was looking forward to staying at the one described as 'lovely' and 'perfect'. If some one can tell me where that Morrison Hotel is I would be grateful.
In all seriousness the location is good but really dissapointed with my small dark bedroom. Maybe just me not being trendy enough?

Room Tip: Not standard queen room - no room to swing a cat and dark and miserable

“Great location, lovely hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Stayed at the Morrison for a family wedding that was being held there. I had read some reviews and was expecting a "shabby has-been". I am delighted to say my husband and I were pleasantly surprised. We arrived early, but this was not a problem, the front desk swapped our room to one that was immediately available. We had a gorgeous room overlooking the Liffey with Temple Bar (the pub quarter) just across the Millennium Bridge and a 10-15 minute walk to Grafton Street (main shopping area). I found that the wine was expensive in the bar, so avoided that and drank the shorts and beers instead, and hubby (who is Irish) said the Guinness was excellent. The bar area is very contemporary and smart with lots of dark wood and leather furniture. Good Italian restaurants nearby (Wallace and Italian Corner). All in all a lovely place to stay and a great wedding venue. We booked a package (Flights and Hotel) and got an excellent deal.

Room Tip: Choose a river view. room. The corner suites look nice but a bit pricey. All areas seemed quiet so...

The Morrison was everything we wanted from our weekend and more! on arrival early friday morning they had the room already prepared and as their was a function going on at the hotel that weekend, they had upgraded us to a suite. all staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. the breakfast was delicious and cocktails were some of the best i have ever had. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone heading to Dublin it was fantastic

“Great Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

Stayed here last year just before Christmas and found the hotel to be lovely. We were going to a concert in the O2 the next day. The hotel is in a great location, a minutes walk to the centre of the city and several Luas stops. The hotel however like many in the city centre didn't have onsite parking, you had to park in the Jervis Street car park. The rooms in the hotel were nice and clean, the bar food was lovely and cheap enough too. Overall the hotel was nice if a little expensive room-rate wise!
