My mother in law, sister in law and her husband decided to visit at the last minute. So with the great help of Catriona the reservation manager we booked a two bed apartment and a suite in the main hotel (the apartments are in a separate building from the hotel which is accessed by a short walk way.

After a quick check in we went up to the apartment as the suite wasn't quite ready. We didn't mind this as we had a cuppa and a catch up in the very spacious apartment, it also added to the anticipation for my sister in law and husband after seeing the quality of the apartment and as to what there suite would be like and they were not disappointed.

The whole place was spotless with fresh clean sheets and towels, plenty of toiletries, tea, coffee and milk. There was also fluffy dressing gowns and chocolates in the suite.

We went on to have a fabulous break, which was added to the friendly staff, good food and the views from both the apartment and suite. Looking down over the Liffey, Dublin, a glimpse of the Dublin Mountains also the sea, what more do you want!

My sister in laws husband was the only one to visit the leisure center and was impressed. The breakfast was excellent with a fantastic assortment, if you couldn't find something you liked you must be extremely fussy!

All in all we had a wonderful time, my sister in law and husband said it is the best hotel and location that they have ever stayed in and I agree!

Dined here with a work colleague for lunch. The restaurant had one other diner, we order our food and after a half an hour we had got no food, after calling the waitress over she said it would come soon. We got our food 45 mins after we ordered. Considering this area mostly caters for professionals who get an hour for lunch its was disappointing we had to wait on our food, then rush it in order to be back at work within the hour. Beware as this has also happened to another work colleague.

Have stayed here a couple of times on business as it is within 10 minutes of our office on Sir John Rogerson's Quay. It's also close to the O2 arena which is handy but it isn't really that close to the major tourist locations. Its a fair walk to many of the popular spots which isn't bad if the weather is ok but requires a cab ride if its raining. The rooms are reasonable size and pretty well appointed. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower didn't have a curtain but a half-glass partition which is pretty much useless. The restaurant was fairly good - we just had breakfast here though. Service was fairly good and the reception desk was helpful in organizing taxis and making dinner reservations.

My wife and I stayed here for the snow patrol concert on in the O2. We found the staff friendly and efficient (We got a room upgrade on arrival). The value was not bad for the area and cause of demand with the concert. We didn't eat in the restaurant because there are a number of restaurants, cafes, shops and bars nearby. So I cannot comment on their restaurant but we found the area to be excellent. The Luas stops right behind the hotel not that you need it to get to the O2 (defiantly walking distance). My only complaint about our entire stay was that their website doesn't state clearly/at all that parking is available on site. We rang reception and were told this was available at an extra charge.
