I booked this hotel months before we went - knowing it was going to be a 6 Nations rugby weekend. I was a bit worried re some of the reviews I had read about noisy rooms, so rang up a few weeks ago and asked for a room away from the road and higher up away from the bar. We got one which meant no road or bar noise, we did however get some noise from the lift, the ?fan unit outside, adjoining room and corridor noise - inconsiderate guests rather than fault of the hotel. Rooms directly parallel to the corridor with no sound breaker from bathroom as it wasn't along the corridor wall. No view from room as it looked into the centre of the building.
The room was clean, shower hot and powerful and WiFi worked well. We did not have breakfast so can't comment.
Staff were always polite and helpful.
Brilliant location for the Airlink bus (10E return) and easy to walk to Temple Bar, Grafton St, the Liffey etc.
Would definitely stay at this hotel with a deal again, clean bed, clean bathroom, nicely kept.
Room Tip: We had room 302, maybe a bit further away from lift would be better - but not too near road!
