This is an absolutely lovely guesthouse. The rooms are large, spotless and well appointed but what sets it apart is the congenial hosts and their staff and the over-the-top food. They offered a broad selection, the presentation was nice, the service impeckable but most imprtantly, delicious! Sophisticated dining in rural Ireland! Even down to the basic brown bread served everywhere we went; their's was the best. Ask Theresa for the recipe!! The only negative thing I can think of is that it is not in town so if you don't have a car, it's a bit inconvenient. On the other hand, if you have a car, that might be a plus.
Room Tip: You might want to request a downstairs room.

Dear Guest thank you for your lovely comment. It is always our pleasure to meet guests who appriciate our efforts. Im delighted you though our brown bread was the best especially since I have taken over the role of making bead daily which I love doing. We would love to welcome you back to Ard na Breatha in the future.kind regards from all. Theresa
