I travelled as a single woman and stayed there for three nights - everything was perfect, I can't find fault with the hotel. I felt safe and secure, the rooms were quiet and spacious with incredible views across the city, every little detail in the room was well thought out, plenty of plugs for all those gadgets we have, wifi was sound, the lifts were efficient, decor very relaxing, spa very friendly, pool quiet and peaceful, room service was spot on, food good and not overpriced, comfortable bed and linen very white and crispy, close to centre and a pleasant walk. Receptionists very welcoming. Staff helpful and polite. All in all a very good stay. If these standards are maintained it's the only place I will stay in future. (one tiny, weeny critcism is the receptionist didn't know where the city's art gallery was but she was honest and I found it later the next day) Thank you for a great time.

I first stayed in this hotel some years ago and have been using it regularly ever since. It is one of very few hotels where it is difficult to find anything to complain about. From the hot towels at Reception to the complimentary bottle of water at check out this hotel has many thoughtful touches to help make the traveller's day that bit easier. The rooms are high quality with very comfortable beds and chairs. The bathrooms are very well designed and finished to a high standard. The bay windows overlooking the river are a really nice feature. The bar is a great place to relax and serves tasty meals for casual dining. The restaurant is excellent if a little pricier than the standard hotel fare, but worth it. The overall impression is of a well-designed and managed facility. Located close to the city centre. No hesitation in recommending this hotel to family and friends and I will continue to use it when I visit Cork.

We were down in the river lee for the weekend, and it was an absolute pleasure to stay in. The service is second to none, rooms are lovely, the leisure centre is fab, food is great, location is great. Overall, this was one of the best hotels I've stayed in Ireland, if not the best! Highly recommend it, especially for couples getting away for the weekend. We'll be back!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of staying at the River Lee Hotel with almost 60 ladies from Co. Offaly. Each and every one of the group enjoyed the visit to Cork and especially their stay in the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious . The staff were very friendly and courteous and the general atmosphere left one feeling welcome and relaxed.
I do hope that we get a chance to stay here another time and must thank all concerned for a really great weekend.
