We stayed for 2 nights as a final leg of a holiday around Ireland. the good points are that the apartments are spacious and close to the city centre, on the minus side a lot of things...
Firstly they claim to be Corks first managed appts - not really the case in my opinion - what you are getting is in effect an apartment that looks like it has never been 'lived in'. It is furnished with basic and rather tatty Ikea furniture, paintwork has obviously been patched up repeatedly, walls chipped in places, the king size beds were too big for the bedrooms so each bed only had one bedside table, the wardrobe was positioned against the angled corner of the room so that you couldn't actually pull out the draws, the sofa throw was an airline blanket from KLM - the glasses were carlsberg pint mugs, no wine glasses (but 2 corkscrews!) none of the kitchen worktop lights worked, basic utensals missing, bathroom was grubby with no shelves or space to put any toiletries on and the window had obviously not been cleaned on the outside for months judging by the dirt and bird poo on it. Balcony also hadn't been cleaned for considrable time judging by dirt and ring marks from mugs out there (we also found the missing 4th chair for the dining table there!).
Re checking in and parking - we arrived at 6pm and apartment still not ready - although the manager v helpful in getting luggage in for us. Re parking on street practically impossible - multi storey around the corner cost 15 euros a day but if you booked in advance you could halve this cost - would be nice to have the link on the booking page. Also says overlooking the river - this one didn't - it was directly on a busy, noisy main road.
Potentially these could be very good apartments - just need good management and attention to detail re finish and furnishings. Sadly it appears that the management has not much experience in running serviced apartments, couldn't help but contrast with our stay immediately prior to this in Harbour View apartments in Westport which were exactly what serviced apartments should be.
