We did not have the bad experience the previous poster did (although i will agree, the family television was a bit loud). We enjoyed our stay at this B&B. The location was especially nice being near the airport and also very close to Quin and Knappogue Castle (we spent our last evening in Ireland taking in the medieval banquet, which was amazing by the way!). Our accomodations were passably clean (admittedly I did notice that the cup in our bathroom had toothpaste residue at the bottom from a previous occupant), the bed comfortable and the sheets quite fresh. Breakfast was the standard full Irish fare we expected. Also a nice bonus, there was a public phone available for use.

The only reason I am posting this is so that if you happen to be on the Quin Road in Cashel looking for a place to stay don't even consider it. I would literally sleep in the car rather than here again. I don't know what the minimum standards for Board Failte are but this place isn't deserving of the shamrock. For those of you who have never been to Ireland and tend to stay at places on the fly the shamrock outside a B&B is generally a great way to get a nice place to stay for a night or two. Just a rough sketch of this place - drunken father and son yelling at 2am ,TV so loud (family TV there are none in the rooms) that bathroom light/fan had to be turned on to drown out the noise, slugs and other bugs in the bathroom, no change of sheets, not even a continental breakfast laid for us for early flight to Shannon (it was agreed that we would have at least something laid out - the teapot and cups hadn't even been cleared from the table from the previous breakfast) and NO CREDIT CARDS!!! when it was agreed from booking in Waterford that we would pay that way. Oh and did I mention that the husband tried to hit on my mom - classy! That's only the half of it. Contact me if you want a true horror story. 0 out of 5 stars.
