Stayed because of location near relatives we were visiting, arrived in pouring rain and were made very welcome by the receptionist/barmaid.
The rooms were fine for a one night stay, clean, warm and comfortable if not over exciting.
We took the option of dining in the restaurant and were very glad we did. The menu choices are many and the quality of the food far above expectations. The home made Pate in particular was first class and the duck in plum sauce was to die for. Our party of five all cleared our plates and left the table well satisfied.
Don't be put off by the surroundings which aint' their fault The Radnor is well worth the effort.
